Artificial Sand General Situation:

At present, the artificial sand is the basic for the coarse sand whose fineness modulus are between 2.6 3.6. The artificial sand has stability grain size distribution and adjustable. It contains a certain amount of powder. Most of the artificial sands are formed with a triangle or square torque body, rough surface, sharp edges and corners.

Artificial Sand Making Machine Application:

Artificial sand making machine is also called as impact crusher. It combines the famous "stone hit stone" crusher principle and technology with the practical situation of China's system of sand production. This machine occupies the international leading level of efficient crushing technology. It is widely used for secondary crushing and fine crushing with all kinds of rocks, abrasive, fire-proof material, such as cement clinker, comprised, iron ore, concrete aggregate. It is more appropriate used for processing highway building sand and gravel.

Artificial crusher sand plant is suitable for the soft or hard and extremely hard materials crushing, plastic and it is widely used in all kinds of ores, cement, refractories, aluminum every soil clinker, carborundum, glass raw materials, mechanisms, building sand, stone and a variety of metallurgical slag, especially for silicon carbide, corundum, sintered bauxite, the sand of hard, hard and abrasive materials. The wear resistance is higher than other types of crusher working effect.

Layout of Sand Manufacturing Plant:

The layout of artificial crusher sand plant is similar to stone ore crushing plant. It consist of feeding machine, sand screening equipment, conveyors, jaw crusher, VSI crusher etc. For manufacturing sand at large scale, it is manufactured directly from bigger size stones up to 500 mm size. The bigger stones should be crushed to minus 8 mm for feeding in the crushing machine.

SBM's VSI crusher machine is proved for crushing stones and all minerals to make artificial sand. This machine is viable such as silica, sand, cement clinkers, glass, gabbros, quartz, limestone, quartzite etc.

This artificial crusher sand plant ensures minimum wear of metallic parts. It gives superior particle shape and consistent gradation. The crushing action in the VSI crusher is simulates the action of nature eroding the particle to cubical shape. For artificial sand making industry, our VSI can provide fine feed to grinding ball mill so smaller grinding mill can achieve the capacity required and increase mill liner life.

VSI Crusher for Artificial Sand Processing Line:

SBM has developed VSI crusher having capacity 30 tons per hour to 250 tons per hour, with a feed size up to 40 mm to 100 mm. Generally the coarse sand below 6 mm size for artificial sand processing machine is not available in ample quantity. To supply coarse sand below 6mm, above 30 tons per hour capacity VSI crusher machine can be used for making coarse sand. It produces about 50% of metal of 20mm size and 50% coarse sand. 20 mm Metal is also having good demand. This avoids producing unnecessary slow moving metal. The stone crusher can be set for 40 mm opening, so more production can be achieved from crusher or bigger size. This 40 mm from jaw crusher can be re-crushed in our VSI crusher and reduced to 20 mm cubical metal and remaining below 12 mm can be fed to artificial sand processing machine for converting in sand.

The artificial crusher sand plant incorporates three crushing types and it can be operated 700 hours continuously. Nowadays, SBM VSI crusher has been the mainstream equipment in artificial sand making plant.
